Terms of service

Plain-English summary: we research and prioritise possible funding opportunities for your business. We do not guarantee eligibility, approval or funding. Official program rules always take precedence.

1. Who provides the service

Au Grant Monitor is an independent private service operated by HODGE & LAWE PARK RIDGE PTY LTD (ABN 92 629 968 056), referred to as “we”, “us” or “Au Grant Monitor”. We are not an Australian government agency and are not endorsed by one.

2. The service

Services may include a free funding scan, personalised opportunity matching, eligibility explanations, prioritised funding reports, document checklists, recommended next actions, weekly monitoring, new-opportunity alerts and deadline reminders. Optional human application support may also be available under a separate written engagement. The scope shown at checkout for a report or monitor product, and any separately signed application-support proposal, forms part of these terms.

We may rely on information published by government agencies and other official program administrators. Programs, budgets, eligibility rules and deadlines can change without notice.

3. Important limits

• A match or score is an indication only, not a decision by the funding body.
• We do not guarantee eligibility, application success, payment or any particular funding outcome.
• Our service is general research and information support. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice.
• Unless separately agreed in writing, we do not prepare or submit applications on your behalf.
• You must read the current official guidelines and confirm eligibility before incurring costs or applying.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, promptly correct material changes, protect access to your email and billing accounts, and use the service lawfully. Results may be incomplete or less relevant if your profile is incomplete or outdated.

5. Prices, GST and payment

Prices are shown in Australian dollars. Any GST treatment is displayed at checkout or on the Stripe receipt. Payment is processed securely by Stripe under its own terms. We do not store full card details.

Funding Monitor is a recurring monthly subscription billed until cancelled. You can cancel through the secure customer portal. Unless the law requires otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

Where we agree to provide human application support, the standard success fee is 15% and eligible Funding Report customers may be offered a discounted 10% success fee. No success fee is payable if the success event defined in the signed engagement does not occur. The relevant funding opportunity, work scope, definition of success, fee calculation basis, payment trigger, GST treatment, excluded costs and treatment of later adjustments or recoveries will be stated in that separate engagement. A report purchase does not itself appoint us to prepare or submit an application.

6. Delivery

Personalised Funding Reports are generated automatically after confirmed payment using the Business Profile provided and reviewed funding information. Human review is not included unless separately agreed. Generation normally begins after Stripe confirms payment, but payment verification, service availability, incomplete profile information or data checks may delay delivery. No fixed delivery time is guaranteed. Funding Monitor normally provides a weekly review or digest, with additional material alerts when appropriate.

7. Intellectual property and permitted use

You may use a report prepared for your business for internal business purposes and share it with your professional advisers. Our site, matching methods, report structure, branding and general content remain ours or our licensors'. You must not resell, republish or systematically extract the service without written permission.

8. Privacy

Our Business Privacy Notice explains how we handle business profiles, email addresses, consent records and product interactions.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy operates in addition to those rights.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for a funding body's decisions, changes to official programs, action taken without checking official guidelines, or indirect loss arising from use of the service. Where the law permits us to limit a remedy for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee for services, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or paying the reasonable cost of having them supplied again.

11. Changes and availability

We may improve, replace or discontinue features and update these terms. Material changes affecting a paid subscription will be communicated reasonably in advance. Temporary outages may occur for maintenance or reasons outside our reasonable control.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws applying in Queensland, Australia. Before starting formal proceedings, each party should try in good faith to resolve the issue by email. Contact sam.wan@hodgelawe.com.
